Control Engineering was established in 1973 by Ralph McLain
PE, and incorporated in 1979. The company started
with two employees, providing installation and service of
residential air conditioning and heating systems and has
since evolved into a full service mechanical contracting
firm, employing from 35 to 45 employees with an annual payroll
of over one million dollars.

Air Control Engineering operates a Residential/Light
Commercial division and a Commercial/Industrial division. Job sizes

West Point, and Tupelo in Mississippi and several towns and
cities in Alabama, including Tuscaloosa. Occasionally,
we go outside
this area to perform work for customers with whom we have
an established relationship or if the job is a good “fit” with
our company at the particular time. We have traveled as far
as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to
serve our customers.
